Fresh Science is a national competition that helps early career researchers find and then share their stories of discovery.
Dr Martina Barzan was given the honour after presenting a 60-second pitch on her research at the Advanced Design and Prototyping Technologies (ADaPT) facility, which seeks to improve paediatric hip surgery by developing personalised digital twins with hip deformities.
