Congratulations to Professor Andrea O'Connor on being appointed Shanahan Chair In Frontier Medical Solutions at Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, University of Melbourne.
This Chair is made possible through the generosity of the Brenda Shanahan Charitable Foundation. Professor O’Connor will foster interdisciplinary collaboration by bringing together clinicians, engineers and industry to develop medtech solutions at the Aikenhead Centre for Medical Discovery (ACMD) at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne.
